Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy used depends upon the host’s payment preference:

 

*Payments directly to the hosts will be paid in Cuban currency (CUC).

 

1. The host asks for the guests to pay 50% of the host fee online (via credit card or PayPal).

  • If the guest cancels their booking more than 7 days prior to their arrival, the host fee payment made in advance is fully refunded. The commission charge is non-refundable.
  • If the guest cancels their booking less than 7 days prior to their arrival, the host fee payment made in advance is not refunded. The commission charge is non-refundable.

 

2. The host asks for the guests to pay the full host fee online (via credit card or PayPal).

  • If the guest cancels their booking more than 7 days prior to their arrival, the host fee is fully refunded. The commission charge is non-refundable.
  • If the guest cancels their booking less than 7 days prior to their arrival, the host fee is 50% refunded. The commission charge is non-refundable.

 

3. The host asks for the guests to pay the full host fee directly to them upon their arrival.

  • The guest does not have cancellation deadlines (e.g. May cancel a day before arrival).
  • The commission charge is non-refundable.

 

If a guest arrives and decides to leave prior to the end of their booking dates, 50% of the host fee for the remaining days (24 hours after cancellation) is refunded. The commission charge is non-refundable.

 

If a host cancels a booking, the host fee and commission charge are fully refunded.

 

A booking is officially cancelled when the guest clicks on ‘cancel trip’ in the trip itinerary page.
